Welcome

We are part of The Vikings, the oldest and largest Dark Age re-enactment society in the UK. Our aim is to recreate battles and village life of the dark ages. The group covers the South Lancashire, Merseyside and North Cheshire area. Our Current membership comes from the St Helens, Wigan, Warrington and Liverpool areas. The group is open to all ages and families are welcome. If you are interested in joining our group or booking us for an event, then please contact us.

Our events are fun filled and educational and we are known for our accurate portrayal of such a formative era of British and Europen history. We as a group portray Norse and Hiberno Norse Vikings who settled the Nortwest Coastal areas of Lancashire and the Wirral. We also portray Saxons from time to time, mainly at The Battle of Hastings.

All our kit is researched and as a group we have a wealth of knowledge of the period.
